Terrible job by SAS but Wingo and others almost equally as bad when citing the weapons. They sort of gave a late nod to Mecole, but no mention of Sammy Watkins...who has been nails in the post season.

Obviously there is zero comparison between Mahomes and Smith, but you can make that point without talking about the weapons. If you’re gonna talk about the weapons, at least do it honestly. Smith ran a great offense his last year. The two extra weapons we have in Sammy & Mecole, plus the rub they all get from Mahomes being otherworldly is what creates an unstoppable offense.

Pat makes all those guys better, and that’s what the real talking point needs to be.

I wouldn't take this seriously. Stephen A Smith frequently says stupid controversial shit to get TV ratings. He knows damn well if Smitty is the QB, there is no way the Chiefs come back from 24-0 against the Texans and Titans game would have been a toss up.

Mahomes is clearly the better QB and it isnt close. And that's not a knock on Smitty, Mahomes is just that good.

I guarantee that if Patrick Mahomes would have been available at pick 1 in 2013 and the Chiefs take him, then d be looking at the very least our 4th SB appearence. If Mahomes was on those early Reid teams with the really good defenses we wouldnt have those embarrassing playoff loses.
