We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.
History says I'm right. Even KC history says I'm right. Every skill player we pay big money amounts to shit. Hill would be the best of the group but Mahomes needs a defense and better guard play, not a deep threat. Those are low percentage throws. [Reply]
Man oh man, if this Ford trade comes through, I am going to be really fucking excited about the future.
I wonder if cutting Berry has something to do with it? Like, you know you have that extra pick from Ford, so you are confident you can replace Berry in free agency and draft your other needs. [Reply]

Haha we mostly agree then! ...Sorenson, Ford, Houston, Berry, safety targets, Adderly, Sell out on D with 1 impact offensive pick early, Cook sounds great to me as well...what exactly did you hate about my prev proposal?
...I'm not all that familiar with the College guys, was just sifting through mocks this morning.
I don't know?
I feel like I'm starting to like it again! We signed a FB about 6 weeks ago or somewhere in there. [Reply]

If the market for Dee Ford is the Packers and 49ers, best case scenario is that SF offered up 36 and Green Bay has offered 44 but the Chiefs are holding out for 30 or a swap of 12 and 29.

Rams gave Cooks big money like idiots and he wasn't their leader in anything.
Swan and Rice were SB MVPs. Plus Swan, Rice and Irvin have 10 Superbowl wins between them.
Hill is this type of generational talent- he does far more than catch low % throws as you posted. Hill stretches defenses, is amazing on special teams and is a weapon running the ball. He can score from anywhere on the field. [Reply]

Well, we haven’t exactly done it yet.
We traded a future 1 and our 1 in 2017 to move up to 10 from 28 a couple years ago (forgot who we drafted...). If the values remained equal, this would be nearly equivalent to saying that Ford is worth a likely late round 1 next year. Not crazy and maybe not too far off, but definitely not guaranteed. [Reply]
