Does it take a damn software developer to suggest that you could just let pigs fuck on their own and find something better to do with your time all day than jacking off boars?

If it make you feel better the harbor pilot was probably jerking the wheel like it was attached to prized swine balls.

All reports say the harbor pilots were already aboard.

They must get on very early in the harbor and I did not see an escort tug, which occurs often.

This harbor must have different rules and maybe it is bridge related.

Thought this provided some nice context on the role of the harbor pilot:

The captain can still do what he wants in essence.

If the captains a control freak and won't listen to others, then that's the way it goes.

With a sophistication and charm about them that makes you want to invite them in for a cup of tea.

I won't rule out cyber attack just yet. However, this seems a little hyperbolic to me. Why could trucks not route around that?

Sounds more like a hardware issue to me.

I think that is what happened. And someone posted earlier in this thread that the same ship had issues a few years ago and had an incident. Not sure of the accuracy of that but if true, that is really bad.

They can, or, if needed sips can dock in several other port cities.

They can, but does the port have the necessary open capacity? It works a lot like airports, with scheduled ins and outs. It's really hard to work things in when they already operate near capacity anyway.

I realize that everyone wants to just throw aside the cyber attack angle but, I think it's at least worth some consideration. Here's some good discussion on this, from all angles, if anyone cares to look at it with an open mind.

IMO, you can't say one way or the other this soon. There has to be some investigation first.

Why does every event have to be some shadowy conspiracy?
