Washington DC and The Holy Land>Chicago PD Intend To Charge Jussie Smollett If A False Report Was Filed
vailpass 09:37 AM 02-10-2019
A week later and no advancement in the case. Major media covered the initial accusations on page one. Now? Nothing. Crickets.

FEBRUARY 8, 2019
Oh, what a tangled web we weave…

Jussie Smollett is in the hot seat after there have been several reports that the openly gay actor may have possibly filed a false report to police. If that’s the case, the Chicago Police Department promises to charge Smollett for making a false police report in regards to the alleged hate crime perpetrated against him on January 29th.

The investigation is still ongoing, but with the Empire actor refusing to hand his phone over to authorities, the 36-year old actor will have a hard time proving his case and avoiding jail time as his alleged assailants have managed to do.

In the meantime, Chicago PD Superintendent Eddie Johnson vehemently states on social media that if Smollett is found to not be telling the truth he will be charged.

CPD has subpoenaed Smollett’s phone records, per a friend on the force. https://t.co/NuXHDejvJq

#ChicagoPolice Supt Eddie Johnson says #JussieSmollett is still being treated as the victim in this case but if the investigation does reveal he made a false report he will be held accountable.

The bible makes it as clear as a bright sunny day that Christians are called upon to judge others, and to rebuke when appropriate. It's the when and how where care is to be taken.

I think people should be reminded from time to time what sort of batshit crazy stuff that nut thinks. You really want to defend that whackjob? Do you also believe dead kids at Sandy Hook were crisis actors?

Gay provocateur has light abrasions on face, has a noose put around his neck, walks home with it still on, leaves it on until police arrive, gets covered in a liquid that (assumed) wasn't frozen to him that smelled like chlorine.

Are we sure this guy wasn't into rape/lynch fantasies and bukkake?

There is a black podcast where that very theory is brought up.

Which one?

Also, you'd think the LW would learn from all their previous dozens of hoax failures and get better.

Also, it's important to distinguish between judgment and counsel or discernment.

For me, it comes down to [radical] individuality. In my philosophy, the entirety of the gospel boils down to God's intense interest in the turning of each individual human heart. Concentrate on being your best you, and offer your fellow man your insight when they seek it. Don't puff yourself up offering unbidden counsel, or engaging in comparative righteousness, because it's not your province and not your business.

Alongside individuality is the general notion that sin is separation from communion with God. You can be doing the most sanctified of things, but to no avail if the purpose is not divine communion. And you can be doing the most mundane or even hedonistic of things and you'll be fine if you are seeking that communion.

You should only look into the bowl or pantry or purse of another to see if you can fill a need. And you should only look into the life, thoughts and acts of another to see if they seek guidance . Don't offer unbidden counsel.
Well said. Mostly agree.

“Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment” (John 7:24).

When we sin, our Christian brothers and sisters have an obligation to judge us. They must not condemn us, but they must, out of love, call us to repent. Such judgment is a grace, an expression of God’s kindness (Romans 2:4), and we only compound our sin if we take offense. If our sin is very serious and our church determines that we must be disciplined according to Matthew 18:15–17, we must keep in mind that the purpose is to pursue our redemption not damnation (1 Corinthians 5:4–5).

Be Slow to Judge
When blatant sin is confirmed, Christians must lovingly judge Christians. But in most situations, we must be very slow to judge, exercising great care and restraint. Our sinful flesh has a hair-trigger to judge others. We must have a healthy suspicion of our own pride, and keep Jesus’s words ringing in our ears: “Judge not, that you be not judged” (Matthew 7:1).

This is especially important because many situations we face are not as clear-cut as the Corinthian examples above. Often the line between judging hidden heart purposes and calling out sin looks ambiguous. And when it is, it is best to be slow to judge.

Sadly he's right on this for once. Most people knew Smolletts story sounded strange when it first came out. Now we just have to wait for the truth to come out.

Start at 7:30. Note: the host is black and gay so no bias against Smollett.
The comments in this thing are instructive as well.

So when/if it comes down to this guy being charged for lying/filing a false police report, do you think liberal msm will have any segments on it? Ya know...kind of how they flooded the airwaves w/ the story when it first came out so they could paint the hate crime/race baiting narrative on Trump supporters (again)???

I'd say very doubtful. But as we all know..its ok...liberals are allowed to lie so they can attempt to incite racial violence and drive wedges between people. That's all they have. Obama's America..."community organizing" at it's finest.

The Chicago news media has certainly turned on R. Kelly since that documentary came out. I guess it's possible they could turn on this guy as well.
