Nzoner's Game Room>2019 Free agency Thread
O.city 03:24 PM 02-05-2019
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

Only if you think rape is a bad thing...

No. Guys, no. It's not a good idea.

That's 2 defensive backs. That's a center and a safety.

No.
I'd much rather have Bell at a $10M cap hit than Ford at a $16M cap hit.

Eric Weddle is who I would target.

One is a running back and one is a pass rusher.

Which is more important?

One can be counted on to be ready to play every week and one can't.

The all pro over the one dimensional pass rusher who can be replaced in every draft...

If he gets hurt, absolutely it is.

But atleast with him, if he's healthy and produces it's worth it and would move the needle of the team.

Even if Bell produces, how much better can the offense really get?

The one that just sat out a whole season because he didn't get the contract he wanted? That one is reliable?

No, I'm not even talking about the rape, dude. He's a terrible human being. Treats his teammates as inferiors, thinks the whole football world revolves around him. Those kind of things. Brown and Bell don't want to be in Pitt anymore because of him and the fact that the whole front office thinks Ben is the bee's knees and treats him like a god-king.

Sure he is. He sat out by choice.

The other guy just disappears for long stretches at a time because he can't help it.

We might have different priorities but rape makes you about as bad a human being as a person can be without going full OJ...
