What did Zay Flowers get for hitting his GF and having a friend pull a gun on her?

Give the dude a break.
When’s it stop? Should the action be punished and not the result? Regardless of how it played out, it happened that’s where the punishment should lie.

The result is ALWAYS what's punished. Every single time.

Shoot a guy 9 times and if he survives you take an attempted murder rap. Punch a guy in anger and if he trips over his feet and hits his head and dies, you're gonna get tagged with involuntary manslaughter.

It's always the result that's punished. The actions can aggravate/mitigate, but ultimately the law looks at the result first.

Looks like Zay had a decided home city advantage from the Baltimore police.

Decline to speak to the police? They’ll suspend the investigation apparently.

According to documents released by police, via the Baltimore Banner, the investigation could be reopened if more information comes to light in the future. Identifying information is not included in the report, but it appears Flowers declined to speak to police before the February 16 suspension.

How about the judge handing this sentence down:

1) Answer interview questions from Brooke Pryor for 30 minutes.

2) Must spend 2024-25 season catching passes from one of the following QBs (pick 'em):

Haven't seen that, but the other dude was suspended by SMU.

SMU has suspended Teddy Knox for his role in the Dallas car crash involving Rashee Rice https://t.co/v5JziCoqkH

Okay, so it is just past 8:00 PM. I assume he has until 11:59:59 PM to turn himself in today, but I would have thought the better "look" would have been to show up just past 8:00 AM this morning.
