Who should Mahomes and Hill and the gang listen to during halftime of their second consecutive Super Bowl? I think 53 is already committed to an act, so we'll go with 54.
Post your nominations here and we'll do a tournament to pick the ideal Super Bowl musical group.
The rules are:
1. It has to be a current act that is still actively touring. You must post a link to their tour or performing schedule for 2017 or later if you want them considered.
2. It must be a musical act, because let's face it, if someone proposed one of those Frisbee catching dogs it would win.
3. No more than three submissions per person, so choose wisely.
4. Keep in mind that this is a Super Bowl, and they're going to want high energy. If you propose Disturbed so they can sing "Sound of Silence", it may not do well in the tournament.
luv is on the tournament team for this one, and she and I will determine eligibility based on the rules above. All decisions are final.
The Best Worst Half-Time Show: Oasis.
Each Gallagher brother plays his own solo material at the same time as the other. Plenty of broken bottles will be available for them to stab each other on stage.

Yep. Thanks to this I went down a nice little drunken jam session with ELO and then Supertramp tonight. [Reply]

They do.
I'd lose what little respect I have for Oasis if they agreed to do it. I mean, they are hooligans. Hooligans don't do American Football World Cup Championships. [Reply]

Ok, so I know this isn't 100% accurate; if anyone is arguing over beer, it's the drummer and the singer.
And if ANYONE from that band is stuck in a Mexican jail, it's the bass player, probaby smuggling heroin and speed. [Reply]
That time of the old geezer acts has passed. Paul should get an exemption. He could being anyone he wanted to help sing some Beatles tunes. Tribute to John and George. Ringo sits in on drums. That would play well at the Super Bowl. Great idea. [Reply]
