In the past I have participated in the Hilton (now Westgate) SuperContest. I didn't make it out to Vegas this year so I decided to setup my own contest.

For those of you not familiar with the real SuperContest it is a sports handicapping contest where you pick 5 games against the spread each week. Their entry fee is $1500 with more than 1000 entries. At the end of the regular season the payout for the winner is close to a million bucks.

I decided to setup a contest similar to this although the entry fee is only $25. The rules are pretty straightforward.

- Pick 5 games against the spread each week. You can pick the same teams each week if you want.

- For every game picked correctly you get 1 point.

- The site I run the pool on sets all of the point spreads. They are all set in half point increments so no pushes.

- At the end of the regular season it will payout the top 3 in the points standings.
