Nzoner's Game Room>Black Friday (Black November this year?) 2020
luv 01:39 PM 11-19-2020
I know there's usually some official Black Friday thread on here, but I can't remember if it's in here of in the Media subforum. Anyway, I know a lot of places are having a bunch of sales throughout the month of November instead of the hoards rushing the stores.

I'm on the hunt for a super cheap 32" smart TV for my kiddo's play room. I'm finding some for about $108-$148 various places. Just thought I'd see if anyone knew of any current or upcoming deals?

Also, anything you're hunting for this year?

Earlier this month onn had a 55 for 130 dollars, it's a Walmart brand so it's not like super awesome picture but they're fine for like garages kids rooms etc.

I have a 75" Samsung I bought from Best Buy on sale in spring 2017 for $1500 (seems high nowadays), it went black and wouldn't turn on after it was 13 months old, the warranty had expired a month earlier. Geek Squad wanted $99 to come and diagnose problem, but to fix it would be more. Join Geek Squad for $199 and you're have coverage for a year to diagnose any appliance in the house and then fix plus parts. I joined Geek Squad and the problem was a power board, that was $175. If I known that and had seen inside the TV when back was off, that's is really almost nothing inside the TV, I think two boards run everything. I could of gone on youtube and learned how to replace the board. However, I had them fix it and was $375 all together to fix the problem. Next time it goes out, I'm throwing it away and buying new.

TCL - 75" Class 4 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV $499.99, has 5 stars from over 10,000 people

I love my TCL but it's Roku. Not sure what the Android TV interface would look like on TCL but for that price, it's probably worth a shot. That's fucking cheap.
