Heh. Doubtful. But who knows?
Seriously though, I thought Snead was probably drafted to take over for Breeland next season. Of course, I don't have dinner with Veach, so I'm just speculating.
Would be nice to keep him somehow though.:-) [Reply]

He's more well informed than Keitzman but 810 has this thing where they get super petty wheh teams stop using them. They did it with the Royals and now the Chiefs. [Reply]

Of course its petro so take it with a grain of salt.
I've wondered how much longer before we hear about a badger extension
According to Craig Stout on Twitter. Not sure he is correct...
“So Baker never officially called up to the active roster, just through PS promotions and COVID replacement. I could be wrong here with all the changes in roster elevations this year, but I don't think KC has full control of his rights in 2021 (ERFA) since he's wasn't on the 53.” [Reply]

He has had a huge impact
I read a rumor that Mathieu might be among the first to get cut if the cap goes down. My hope is that Veach can do some Veach-type thing to keep him, because he's the least replaceable player on the defense. [Reply]

The Cap isn't decreasing and by all accounts, will stay relatively flat in 2021.
The owners could opt to make sure it's exactly the same as 2020 or even spread any loss over the next few seasons but the owners don't want to give the players an "Interest Free" loan. [Reply]
