I’m told one name that continues to pop up with people inside the #Chiefs building is Tershawn Wharton. The undrafted free agent from Missouri Science and Tech seems almost a lock to make the the teams’ 53 man roster. Great local story.

The way Spags likes to use guys up front, it's really not that strange. He's probably a guy they think can move around on the line. [Reply]

Good on the Chiefs to find this dude and give him an honest shot.
I'm going to be a little more cautious this time around, but I like his burst, he looks pretty strong as well as he was able to fairly easily throw guys off or disengage off blocks. He seems to finish well, though he looks like he's aiming a little high to me. But what I really liked was his recognition. He seemed to recognize where the ball was, whether it had really been handed off or not, and what the play was very quickly. Again, it's a little hard to tell, what with the bad video quality, the fact that he's playing against lesser competition, etc., but he seemed to recognize the situation very fast, and then reacted just as fast. And that ability might be more important to his success than a few hundredths off his 40 time or his bench press or whatever. [Reply]
