Easier not to mention that?
Running has a place. And it's when you have a lead in the 2nd half to run clock and control the tempo of the game. How did we get that lead? Throwing the ball. Enjoy it fellas. This is the new NFL. Throw the ball. We are the Golden State Warriors. The Niners and Titans are the Oklahoma City Thunder.

We had a 4 point lead. It was 21-17.

So, so accurate. Good to hear from someone who knows about football and watched the game.

BWillie must not have checked out that Frank Clark interview where he said "stopping the run was THE priority" on defense...

In the first half... he had 62 yards.

62 yards.

That's not exactly tearing it up. He had 2 plays that was more than 10 yards, a 11 yarder in the first quarter, and 13 yarder in the 2nd quarter. That's it.

He was a non factor in the second half because our run defense completely shut him down. They denied him any big plays. Period.

As Frank Clark would say, "He ain't shit."

I also want to make a point here. Everyone, even the players have said it so much, that Henry gets stronger as the game goes on. That's been well documented.

He only got 7 yards in the 2nd half.

Simply put, the run defense just shut him down.

And in your educated opinion, how important was that run defense to the overall success of the Kansas City Chiefs professional football team in their endeavor to win the contest and proceed to the Super Bowl as a team, Coach?

Leading up to the game the talking heads all made it a point to mention that they keep feeding Henry the ball even when down by as much as 10 points. They stopped running the ball because it simply wasn’t working.

The Titans have never lost when Henry has over 100 yards. They were on track for 124 with him. Then Mahomes took over and forced Tennessee out of their element.

Look, I like Frank. The confidence is good. But him or Zeke are the best RBs in the NFL period. To say Henry ain't shit is disingenuous. Fortunate for us passing is much more valuable than running. We were able to force them to only try 4 rushing attempts in the second half.

If you can shut down a team's running game, and make them one dimensional, you have a very good high chance of winning this game.

Ryan Tannehill is a solid QB, but he ain't winning this game by himself if the running game was nullified.

Need a reminder?

In 2018, Henry had 23 carries for 156 yards, a 6.8 YPC. We lost that game.

In 2019, Henry had 23 carries for 188 yards, a 8.2 YPC. We lost that game as well.

Since the defense got embarrassed in that 2019 game, they been aces in spades.

Absolutely 100% accurate.

Like Frank Clsrk said, "stopping the run was THE priority."

And in that 2019 game, Mahomes had almost 450 yards passing and 3 TDs...and LOST to the Titans, because of Henry and the Titans running game.

We forced them to 4 rushing attempts because RUSHING WASNT WORKING, you fucking football genius.

How come the Titans came back on us in week 10, using Henry and the running game, even though Mahomes threw for 450 yards and 3 TDs????

WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE THERE!??

COULD IT BE THAT RUN DEFENSE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU THINK!!!??

:-)
:-)

DUMBASS.
