We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

Trade show (Con Expo) was a few weeks ago, I don’t remember the exact dates. We made him self-quarantine when he returned and he started running a fever. He was tested for influenza and tested negative so he was then tested for Covid-19. He tested positive and has been home since. I talked to him yesterday and he’s doing fine. He felt sick for about 7 days, but it was never too bad.

Not more than 10 people at a time. So I assume you are giving the same speech 51 times.
I hate it for the employees. Our response was bad. It would have been better if we would have had a Pandemic response team. We are doing the best we can in trying to play catch up at this point. We should be doing more with strong restrictions.
And per you post a couple of days ago people have been arrested for improper behavior when it comes to Covid-19.
You sure are full of you and not about the people.

It's incredibly unlikely that we'll be in this level of lockdown for a year.

Sure, which means those workers are going to get it one way or another and roll the dice on the odds. Be it April or September.

Essential employees shouldn't be able to overwhelm the health care system if the rest of the population is doing their part and staying home. That "if" is probably the actual problem.

Seriously, someone needs to lock the entire states of NY and NJ down Chinese style and some cleaning crews need to go in their and literally fog everything. How in the fuck do you get 11,000 cases a fucking day? I mean NY alone is about ready to pass the entire country of Italy.

We already had rules in place for social distancing at work and stringent cleaning every 2 hours. The one engineer that works for me that has it caught it in Vegas at a trade show.
When was the trade show? Does he still have it?

Part of this entire ordeal is coming back on the head of the WHO who is allegedly pretty tight with the Chinese President. On the topic of your link though, the UN is a fucking joke.

UN is definitely a joke I agree. It doesn't work. Gives China and Russia too much power which allows them to veto sanctions against evil regimes like North Korea.

I don't want to get political though my bad.

Read 2 or 3 pages of this thread. You should have your answer.

So if you are on stay at home you can go for a run but they don’t want you going for a drive...

Seems idiotic.
