You’re not really even saying that, but you’re the only one quoting me and carrying on the conversation so I’m taking my frustrations out on you. :-)

I think most health care workers are rooting for an antibody over a rushed vaccine at this point. A good antibody drug could take the fatality rate down to levels that a vaccine might not even be required anymore in a perfect world. I know that’s definitely what I’m hoping for.
A vaccine and an antibody would be nice. I would much rather have the vaccine and not be in a position to need antibody therapy.

Yeah I'm reminded of that girl that was running with a mask on and got a collapsed lung from inhaling too hard on something designed to prevent airflow.

Will it be considered cheating if as you are running you pull your mask down to get some air?

It’s obviously way too early to tell. There have been a couple of good antibody tests with really good results. Particularly Sorrento’s STI-1499 but they aren’t to human trials yet so it’s way too early to get too excited about it. I know people on this board don’t trust anything out of China but I read this article today with some promising stuff as well.

Congrats to him, he can read numbers from a chart. I'm glad he's around to tell us that.

As long as they’re not mandatory in the next 20 years I have no issues with the vaccines.

You'll have guys poking extra holes in their masks or taking out the filter media or something...there WILL be cheating methods if they do this.

Both are still early but I assume other are looking into it, it is hard to believe we have been dealing with this for only 6 months (it is an estimate BR) it feels like years.

St. Joe got some more tests back today.

Out of 1351 completed, 23 came back positive.

242 still pending.

Can we interpret anything from this?

Probably not totally random as it was voluntary, but it seems like the virus is less prevalent in the population than some think. At least in the Midwest.
