And Dorsey had never had a draft that he ran. Why are people forgetting that he was 3rd in command here? The things you credit him for could be credited to Reid also. Posted via Mobile Device [Reply]
If Mahomes works it may not matter but oh boy if he turns out to be a bust we might not see the Chiefs draft a QB round 1 for the next 50 years this time. [Reply]

I get it. Some people are content with what Andy Reid brings. "competitive" [Reply]

That is why I think there must have been an unexpected or very recent new development that led to Dorsey leaving like this.
If this is because he wants to go to Green Bay, the Chiefs could have determined that with him back in January before letting Ballard go to Indy. [Reply]

He's the best Monday-Saturday coach in the NFL. [Reply]
I think it's mostly this, but it's completely out of the blue, not when you do it just as the season gets under way in a month with TC.
I think it played a part with the Maclin cut going down how it did.
As mentioned, they gave Bowe, Howard, and Maclin big contracts and then ended up cutting them within 2 seasons.
Usually you see some signals, and Reid and Dorsey came here in large part to be able to work together.
But, they have tremendously improved. Have probably the most well rounded team top to bottom in the league, and drafted extremely well.
Andy got an extension today, so he must have made a vote of no faith in Hunt deciding to make a move.
He was under contract for another year. Why the hasty move at a time that makes no sense?
I wonder if Dorsey was all in for moving up to draft a QB, and Andy disagreed? But, if that's the case, Andy could choose to go and not be saddled with a QB you didn't want to draft or run your offense
