He’s playing so well as an UDFA rookie at a position where guys just simply don’t usually play that well until year 2 or 3.
His upside is extremely high for a guy that’s just a rotational player right now. Him and Jones as our interior pass rushers is going to be unfair for the next few years. [Reply]
I'm thinking this is one of the few silver linings of the Covid draft. If this guy went to visit teams in person I can't imagine he wouldn't be drafted.
I mean just the ten seconds of *looks at college listed weight* *looks at player* *looks back at college weight* *looks at player* [Reply]

I’m not saying that can’t happen but NFL S&C programs are mostly based on injury prevention & rehab, mobility and maintenance.
They’re expected to be near peak strength and weight when they get here.
It’s a lot more fragmented with guys often using their own personal trainers in the off season. [Reply]

I suspect both would have some “maxing out” left. Missouri S&T and Central Michigan don’t exactly have big-time training resources like the Power 5 conference teams.
Danna spent one year at Michigan so he’s probably closer, but I’d bet they can sculpt Wharton a bit more. [Reply]
