He’s playing so well as an UDFA rookie at a position where guys just simply don’t usually play that well until year 2 or 3.

He’s a rotational player. It’s impressive that he plays at as light of a weight as he does and still does well in those specific situations. He’s getting snaps and making the most of them.
He’s a good player, but don’t confuse him for guys like Jones and Clark who put in far more snaps and are asked to serve more responsibilities from play to play than someone like Wharton. [Reply]
I think if we had drafted the guy in the 4th or later, we would be thrilled with his production (especially with no training camp). The fact we got him as a UDFA is pure gravy. [Reply]
