Whatever the punishment will be, it will be significantly harsher than the last one. Heavier fines, possible suspensions, loss of more than two draft picks, possibly a multiple year debit to their salary cap.

The NFL won't go that far.

They have a history of gradually increasing punishment for repeat offenders, both at the player level and organizational.

For Spygate the Patriots organization was fined $500,000 (Bill $250,000, Kraft $250,000, IIRC), lost a 1st pick. This was after such infractions such as 'IRGate,' which cost the Patriots a 3rd round pick.

If the NFL proceeds according to their history, this infraction will cost the Patriots more than the first Spygate. Whatever that ends up looking like.

All I know is, in the history of the NFL, hell, all professional sports, has there EVER been a team that matches the success of the Patriots over the last 19 years? A bunch of no-names and a 6th round QB, a coach that didn't do shit before he got there, and no coaches who leave the Bellicheat Tree are successful, like at all. I don't think we are all bad. I think most Patriots fans tend to be entitled though and you can kinda see that when they talk and/or post online.

It just sucks that we have so many scandals because it does kinda taint my happiness for the team a little. I said it last season, but if we dont make SB.. I will be rooting for you guys.
