Washington (CNN)

House Democrats and the White House have reached a deal to advance President Donald Trump's renegotiated North American Free Trade Agreement after months of negotiations for changes on Democratic priorities, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced on Tuesday morning.

"There is no question of course that this trade agreement is much better than NAFTA," Pelosi said at a news conference.

If ratified, the trade deal would represent Trump's primary legislative success since Democrats took control of the House of Representatives last November. The pact is also viewed as essential by a number of Democratic freshmen from more conservative districts, who not only support the deal on its substance but also believe a bipartisan achievement will play well on the campaign trail.

Rubbish!

It goes on here in America already on many other food products. It's up to individuals to be savvy consumers. That can be figured out by labels of ingredients, if the price is too cheap, advertising by competitors, consumer groups, and media reports and trademark protections--not a supranational central planning agreement.

We have courts to protect against fraud here in our own country. We had the FDA make Velveeta change it's name from cheese to a cheese product even.

Food fraud isn't limited to just cheese. Consumer food groups claim that fake ingredients has increased by 60 percent in 2012 alone. I've noticed it myself.

Food fraud abounds in America already.

I'm sorry if you can't handle reality, but it's reality.

Asserting it as reality, doesn't make it so.

The only reason that cheese designation was added was because the US dairy industry lobbied for it, because of what might happen with people in a foreign country calling some cheeses. LMYFAO. It's speech controls.

The "why" is irrelevant to the what.

And, if you're too stupid to understand why people want to require that only Swiss cheese be labeled Swiss cheese, that's on nobody but you.

This shit has been happening for a long time. It's just that it's often been others complaining about the actions of U.S. companies (champagne and other wines, cheddar and other cheeses, etc..)

So, if you want to talk about hypocrisy, I'm with you. But if you don't grasp the fraud issue, you're a moron.

At a time when EU is being threatened with the election of Boris Johnson, America is sent reeling into a similar integration. I think this suggests that Johnson won't really pull off Brexit either. World govt here we come! Yay! Trump is awesome for moving it forward.
