A garage door loop is tied differently to maintain the form. They do look very similar from a distance though.
If this is what this incident was actually based on, holy shit. If this ends up a staged woke show, that selfie pic he took with all the crew members and teams behind him and all the other actions this weekend just make me want to puke. It also makes the stories he's told feel like a cringe show considering some had doubts about them when he told them.

It'll be interesting to see what the investigation turns up.
It doesn't make sense that Wallace would mistake a hand-pull rope for a noose. If he'd ever raced there before, he had to have seen them before.
It also doesn't seem likely that he's a Jussie Smollet type. His car owner is Richard Petty, and I just don't believe Petty would put up with anything remotely like that kind of behavior, the optics be damned. In fact, Petty seems to be a big fan of the kid, and even said that he thinks that Wallace has a big future ahead of him.
