Yeah, being a mouth breather is very detrimental.

Have you ever had a consult with an ear nose a throat doc? You may have adenoid, sinus issues. A narrow palate can also cause those issues.

I do a lot of orthotic work on adolescents who have sleeping issues and have been told they have behavioral issues. A lot of times it’s because they can’t breathe, so they don’t get good sleep and it just cascades.

We expand their palate and magically, they can breathe!

One of my front teeth is almost clear from my bad oral history - I sleep with a humidifier and our house has a whole house humidifier when the heater is on. It helps in the winter but im almost to the point where I think i have sleep apnea
