Yeah, being a mouth breather is very detrimental.
Have you ever had a consult with an ear nose a throat doc? You may have adenoid, sinus issues. A narrow palate can also cause those issues.
I do a lot of orthotic work on adolescents who have sleeping issues and have been told they have behavioral issues. A lot of times it’s because they can’t breathe, so they don’t get good sleep and it just cascades.
We expand their palate and magically, they can breathe!
