His last disastrous start aside, Vargas is still on pace to finish one of the best starting pitching seasons in franchise history. You can't help but want the guy to win it every time he's on the mound. He will certainly be missed next year.

Doubtful they are related to a player. Player's Wive's and families sit usually on the 1st base side right next to the diamond club entrance on the concourse.

I know because I used to have season tickets there and all the Wives and visiting families sat there. I pissed off some lady relative of Gordon's once when I griped about him hitting into a DP. I wasn't griping about him per say but the offense in general. She was miffed.
