I work around 93rd and Quivira. When I got to work this AM, there's a big ass tree totally uprooted across the street from our company. Must have had some serious straight line winds here Saturday night. [Reply]

Oh that will buff out. :-) Glad everyone is ok. [Reply]
'member when I had that giant-ass tree fall on my goddamned house? The one like three posts above this? Yeah. We took that tree down and trimmed the other large tree in our side yard.
We just had that tree fall on our goddamned house too.
Same here 1st day back from Lake and this. Neighbors tree uprooted a 36 in diameter oak fell over his driveway crushed his work Truck and wife's car. They just got home from royals game on loaded and boom. They were lucky not to be crushed. My house had some guttering pulled away I'll know more in morning.
Risk is low to medium for most of us today. Straight line winds could be brutal. Early on in supercell initiation, tornadoes are a definite threat. Dew points are mainly in the upper 50’s. Would like to see more juice. But, winds changing with height will likely be sufficient for a few tornadoes. Already have SLC’s in SW MO. Good luck to all. [Reply]
