I searched and could not find anything on here about this awesome show.

Seriously, if you like animated shows for adults, then you have to watch this fucking show.

It is on adultswim, you can watch episodes online.

:-) - Even blackout drunk, Rick takes time to 'artfully' pose his victims.

Anyone catch last night. Reposting from 'The Orville' thread

Nothing about network mandates FG's structure. If it did, it wouldn't be the only network show that has it.

Speaking of which, last night. . . . Holy Shit.
On one hand, I wouldn't recommend it for a first-time watcher, just on the basis of dropping into the narrative.
But as an example of how creative 21 minutes can be . . . Again, HOLY SHIT. You could spend a good 2+ hours just explaining the interconnection of references, tropes, allegories, philosophies, etc. that were contained therein.
And it didn't even feel overstuffed. It gave you just enough of a reference to get the narrative, in the only setting where it all made sense together.

There are things to quibble, but the quibbling is part of the experience as well. Talented Motherfuckers, that lot.

Yeah last night's episode was awesome.

This season continues to get better and better.

Best animated show on TV easily. Hilarious, smart, dark, complex, etc...

If you havent watched an episode yet, go do so and you'll most likely be hooked.

I haven't watched the last ep but I love a show that both makes you laugh your ass off and actually ponder the deeper parts of life.

Google "Rick and Morty Catholicism."

Based on the infinite reality/earths theory - what if God judges you based on an infinite number of versions of you? What if your life isn't how you're judged - it's the balance of ALL your lives that gets averaged out? At the same time you fall under the Pope's dogmatic judgement...

Did you read any of Douglas Adams? Notably, the very obvious ' Hitchhikers Guide' series?

"Mostly Harmless" takes on an unbelievably somber, dark shift in tone. Truth be told, it's a goddamn miserable read and I'll never bother re-reading it again. End the series with "So Long and Thanks for all the Fish" and you'll be much happier for it.

The reason? Well, for all intents and purposes, Adams was just in a foul mood. Guy was going through intermittent bouts of depression and was just generally pissed off. So he makes that book bleak as hell and then
Spoiler!

Adams himself said he wished he'd have never written it and wanted to take another stab at wrapping up the series. Then of course he died.

Seriously, you wonder what kind of fresh hell Roiland and/or Harmon are going through right now because while this season has been damn funny, it's been incredibly dark, even by Rick and Morty standards. It's one of those things that you look at and think back on 'Mostly Harmless' - man, you just hope they haven't done anything by the end of this season that they'll regret.

I immediately texted my son afterward: Best episode yet?

Had heard about this show and general high praise but finally got around to watching with no expectations or what it was even about.

Holy shit this is great stuff. It was good at first but at some point hit its stride after a few episodes and went completely unhinged.

Great show!
Shocked that it hasn't picked up much steam here as the humor seems to be right up the alley of a lot of users.
