I'm more opposed now than I was before about having my children get the vaccine. Granted I know very little about normal trials of vaccines and how they may get modified over time but I'd prefer to have long term studies before subjecting my kids to this. [Reply]

You're in luck. They haven't yet approved it for kids. [Reply]
Welp, I've changed my mind. I'm signed up through my pharmacy to get in line to take the vaccine. It's better that I take it before my parents. If something goes wrong then I want to experience it before my parents. I can warn them if something goes wrong. [Reply]

The times in which we live are decadent. It is evident we are now approaching the end of the age. Every one has disregarded the law. Children no longer obey their parents. Everyone is eager to write a book.
We can exchange doomsday fairy tales all day, man. For as long as you want.
I used the NY Times app to see where I might be in line to receive the vaccine based on age, location & underlying conditions. It approximated my place in line at 1.9M from the initial doses going out.
So by the time I'm eligible, late spring early summer, hopefully any issues with the vaccine will be well known. [Reply]

While technically true, the NJ state legislature has already publicly stated that they are ready to mandate the vaccines for schools the second they have data from clinical trials.
Edit: So while we're barely off the ground, politicians in their infinite wisdom are already getting parents riled up. [Reply]
