Nzoner's Game Room>2019 Free agency Thread
O.city 03:24 PM 02-05-2019
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

I don't think that means anything as he isn't shopping for the groceries (Veach) or has any real influence on what will be bought at the store (Spagnuolo).

My guess is that KC is offering him 1 to 2 years and he’s probably looking for a longer term contract.

They had a chance to sign him last year to a cheap deal and didn't.

I don't think the Chiefs are interested.

Yeah but unless that is the reason he wasn’t signed, it’s irrelevant

What other reason would there be?

I mean, if the Gm doesn't want to sign him or like him, i'm guessing a new coaching staff isn't going to change that.

Veach: don’t really care for him.
Merritt: I love this mf I wanna load his asshole up with baby gravy because he’s so god damn good!
Veach: nah I’m good.

We're in the time of 1 year deals and some guys will start waiting until the draft is over to sign with teams that miss out on spots in the draft.

Maybe the Chiefs will sign Boston. I don't know. I'm guessing not, but I've been wrong a lot.

Again though, if they do, it will be another example of a year too late on a guy.

I can't imagine them NOT adding more to the D (outside of draft)

Boston was a 3rd safety last year for the Cardinals, i read. Not even a starter.

Have you seen his 3 ints? I saw two of them. They were both off a deflection. They were the result of being in the right place at the right time.

I watched him in SD and he wasn't that good. According to PFF, he had a worse season last year than the season before.

Couple that with the fact that he's one of those "kneelers" and i think you can see why his market is cold.

I think it's a matter of fans way over valuing him.

Maybe so...but I don't think anyone wants to see Sorensen back out there either.

I'm thinking the Chiefs don't view him as an upgrade over Sorenson.
