We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

Dallas is in QB purgatory limbo. A lot of talent on that team but I don’t think they can win it all with Dak. But you know that Jerry will fork over $30M per to keep him around. [Reply]
Cut Berry, sign Collins and give Watts a chance at the starting FS job next year. I’m fine with that as long they bring in competition for Watts through the draft. [Reply]

Yeah given Watts issues with durability I’m not sure you can pencil him in as a starter. Give him a chance to compete for the job, sure maybe but don’t count on it for a full season. [Reply]

Exactly. But they could also plan on holding onto Sorensom for that very purpose. [Reply]
Some of y’all will probably think I’m crazy, but I’m not sure that there’s any way that I’d ever be forking over $25M+ per year for mediocre QBs. Guys like Dak, Foles, Cousins, Mariota, etc....
I think I’d just keep swinging for bigger and better options that will at least be cheap before I tied up a bunch of cap room into players who aren’t that special. Eventually you’re bound to hit a home run and get a legit top 10 QB. [Reply]
