How about we compare the last 3 weeks of Texas to the last 3 weeks of NY?

Do those mean nothing to you?

Just be happy the flu no longer infects, hurts or kills anyone anymore.

Several days ago, the beautiful and witty Mrs. FAX and I visited a Nashville nursery for the purpose of selecting some trees and shrubberies. Upon arrival, I inquired about the outdoor mask protocol employed by management. I posed this question since we were outside, being bombarded with sunlight, and I was naturally curious as to their specific rules (which vary in Nashville depending on where you are and what you are doing).

The shrubbery man seemed to indicate that customers can use their own judgment so I congratulated him for this policy.

Later, as the beautiful and witty Mrs. FAX and the shrubbery man were picking out trees, the shrubbery man said, "Your husband must be a 'Trumper'." At this point, the beautiful and witty Mrs. FAX explained to the shrubbery man that her husband blindly follows no man ... and that includes Trump. She told shrubbery man that some people make up their own minds based on information they acquire from a variety of sources and only a damn fool would use labels and generalizations to categorize their own customers ... whom they've never before met ... especially prior to checkout. She then explained that some people are political agnostics and that unrelenting, partisan dogmatism is often a sign of ignorance, if not utter stupidity.

Be prudent, Planeteers ... for apparently, the battle lines are everywhere.

FAX
I'm torn between posting the hand-clap gif here or the knights who say ni. Good on your Mrs. and what the hell is wrong with the shrubbery guy? Crazy world out there right now.

Hospitalizations and deaths mean the most. Cases wont mean as much with vaccinations. Were probably going to rise a bit but it wont be a surge like in Europe. The CDC directors comment was totally inappropriate

Yes, they do. Then again, except for influenza, they aren't contagious.

Absolutely. I'm taking issue with those who claim that cases mean nothing.

Walensky getting ripped all over the place for being panicky and dramatic when the data doesn't call for it and she is supposed to be the head of the CDC.

In other words she lost a lot of respect in the medical field today is what it is sounding like.

Not having Covid doesn't spread it either, despite the false number of cases.
