Go to the :23 mark and you'll see the run where he's hit and fumbled. After he's down, there's a player running towards him that throws his hand up to signal a turnover. Prior to that, you really couldn't tell what happened. Yes, the replay footage from a different angle showed the fumble, but live - this is the view you got.

I know that some of you really cling to this 'refs love Denver' narrative, but seriously if the challenge guys up in SEA's box were doing their job, they would have told Pete to throw the flag and not wait. They win this in a challenge.

Denver knew it was risky, hell Freeman may have said "Hell yeah it hit the dirt"... and they ran up to snap the ball, which they were already running a form of quick snap.

So, belly-ache and whine all you like... if you guys want to label this play as a gift from the refs, I think you're idiotic.

You guys sure did a good job of continuing his development into a consistent starting NFL QB. Vance Joseph didn't totally tank his stock with his horrific staff and coaching or anything. Paxton Lynch is another shining example of how good the Broncos staff is at developing QBs.
