Nzoner's Game Room>How friggin Cold are you?
Hog's Gone Fishin 04:54 PM 02-13-2021
Here in the Texas panhandle 6 degrees all day. Headed for -7 to -10 by Monday.

6-12 inches snow tomorrow/Monday

had to call every tenant to make sure they keep water running or they'll be SOL for a week.

THANK GOD I don't have to deal with the Hog farm any more. I feel for the livestock producers. They earn their money in a big way!

Those bastard on the border trying to check in are fucked in their short sleeve shirts. LOL

Yep, I'll gladly put up with the sweltering summers and not have to worry about heating or cooling my house from November through april

I have had years when the heat is on then I shut it off and three weeks later turn on the AC

Spring and fall it is common to drive to work with the heat on and drive home with the AC on. Told someone that moved here from Alabama. He almost left and moved back.

We spend 5 months of the year pumping humidity into the air to feel warm and not scratch our skin off then spend 5 months trying to pump it out of the house. That leaves 2 months of being comfortable.

I cross the 45th parallel on my way to work every day.

Happens here too. Dressing for Florida winters involves layers. First layer is summer clothes ( t-shirt ). Second layer is long sleeve t-shirt and the third layer is a hoodie/ sweatshirt. By 11am you start taking off layers, by 5 you start putting them back on.

-8 in Omaha. Down a car battery, head light and had to rap on the starter with a small shoe hammer this afternoon.
Cant wait to get the natural gas bill for this.. 400 or better I bet.

LOL! Not NEARLY that cold here in BR, LA. However, 22 - 18 degrees and frozen (ice) streets mean that yours truly gets called into the hospital tonight through Wednesday! Code GRAY! :-) and on Valentines Day! Managed to have a nice grilled filet mignon with twice baked potatoes and grilled asparagus with the wife before I have to leave @ 9:00pm tonight.

Hanker in and stay warm CPers!
