They do actually since Jimmy G can be cut and they would only owe him $4.2 million of dead money the next 2 years while gaining $23.6 million to give to Stafford.

Either way that’s a big win for him. McVay and Rat Jr come from the same elder Rat tree but they’re both top 10 offensive coaches in the league.

I said it in another thread - I really don't want Stafford in Denver. Jeudy, Patrick and Fant would suddenly realize their potential with Stafford hucking the ball to them.

I don’t see why Stafford would want to go to Denver honestly. He just got out of a dysfunctional franchise to go to one with no owner?

Plus Denver does have a lot of young weapons but they have a defensive coach. Plus they are such a young offense that it will take time to mesh.

Sean McVay and Kyle Shannahan have talented teams and they’re excellent offensive coaches.

Stafford should easily want to go there

I have to say though, the more I think about it, if I were Stafford, WFT would be #1 on my list.

The 49ers and Rams have great rosters, but that division is fucking brutal.

The NFCE could be Stafford’s for the next few years in Washington.

Only reason I can see him passing up WFT is to go to a team that has a really good offensive mind as their HC

Yep, the only reason he shouldn't be all over that is because he is said to prefer a warm weather destination... but if he actually wants win, WFT is a no brainer

Stafford, Murray and Russ all in one division would be crazy

The Rams not having a first round draft pick this year would make it difficult... unless they offer Detroit their future first round draft picks.

I am assuming Detroit is looking for at least one first round pick in any potential trade offer.
