In fact I talked with 2 nurses from another large health system in the area for over an hour last night and we talked about Covid quite a bit and that never came up.

Damn dude someone needs to step up, grow a pair and boot you from this thread for a while.
That was an unnecessary personal shot.
You just keep sinking lower and lower of a human being.

CBS national news reporting tonight that Missouri is having a huge outbreak. kC area hospitals are overflowing.

What’s going on up there?

Almost up to 200 hospitalizations here.

The test numbers are dropping slowly so hopefully the rest will follow

K, thanks

Just so we're clear, do you mean a lower human being like telling kids who are going through a lot of mental and emotional trauma due to Covid to "suck it up"? Or by refusing to acknowledge that there are kids committing suicide over all of this and not recognize it as a Covid related death?

Seems I have a ways to go before I sink as low as some in this thread but you do you.

No, they are not. 30%+ available beds for both regular and ICU.

Not even close to overflowing.

Since the news has already reported it I can say we have roughly 25 Covid patients right now. The difference between now and back when this started is we have a lot of "other patients" as well.

Still have not heard anything about being overloaded or any threat thereof.

Pete says it's all bullshit. And Pete is rarely wrong.

I don't know how much different it is than normal to tell you the truth. It was not uncommon for me to hear "we are full" from various hospitals long before Covid was on the scene.

A local source rather than the 30,000 ft view the AP gave.
