I love the player and the energy he brings, but I think Jones may not be the “team player” the Chiefs can trust with a huge contract. This passive aggressive stance on Twitter is not likely endearing him to Reid/Veach.
Agree. I’ve changed my mind. Spend the money elsewhere. We can get a lot of player for 20 million.
The two sides are close on a 4-year deal, I’m told. First Patrick Mahomes gets done, now Chris Jones’ deal coming. KC and agents the Katz Bros have ramped up talks in the last few days. Now very close. https://t.co/I9prhXscsl

You're wrong to think that Mahomes doesn't have any input in their decision making, especially considering the way his new contract is structured, giving him multiple outs and severe financial consequences for releasing him.
:-)
Not yet he is not. He is not on par with where Peyton Manning nor Tom Brady have been at the prime of their careers. Mahomes can definitely get there though.
He was one of 20ish players that put that video together.
Check out the replies to that tweet. Bunch of triggered fans from other teams claiming Veach is doing some kind of devil sorcery with the cap.
Oh, and also the standard "LOLOLOL THEY HAVE NO CAP THEY'RE GONNA DIIIIIEEEE HAHAHAHA" from retard idiot morons who probably don't know how to basic things like balance a goddamn check book.
