Just saw a stat that showed the average top speed (mph) by offensive ball carriers:
KC: 13.36
SF: 13.35
League Avg: 12.97

Found that interesting. Thought nobody would get close to us. Speed doesn't always reflect talent though. Hill and Hardman are game changers. Goodwin, although fast, is a shadow of a player.

We have the better QB and our defense was better the second half of the season than theirs. "Que Virus or another slapdick sucking them off saying Niners defense is better"

Goodwin is not playing. Breida has had the fastest run in the NFL both this season and last. Mostert may be faster than him. Bourne and Sanders not necessarily fast. For a tight end, Kittle is very fast. He'll out run the LBs all day and most DBs.

KC played great down the stretch. 49ers had the most difficult part of their schedule down the stretch, playing Packers, Raven, Saints, Falcons (got healthy and won last 4 games), Rams (playing for playoff survival) and seahawks their last 6 games. And, they had injuries with Ford and Alexander keeping them out.

So, against good teams that D is a fraud?

No debate on the QB. Defense? We'll see. Shutting down the Raiders, Broncos and Bears is nothing to brag about.

Oh, they're vulnerable for sure. But they are at the healthiest they've been. In some of those games they had so many injuries they were playing with rookies and back ups.

So what you're saying is that when the 49ers play a good team that D is just gonna give up 30 points.

OK.

Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs are better than good.

You do realize a healthy Dee Ford is good for the Chiefs , right. It provides them a clear running lane.

Not following you. As I said, the 49ers down the stretch were playing with a lot of back ups. Marcel Harris at SS, Al-Shaiir at LB, Sheldon Day at DE. They didn't get to full strength until the playoffs. They then held Minn to 10 pts and the Packers to 20. Those are two good teams that had difficulty moving the ball against a healthy 49ers defense.
