From your article:

"We thought the immune responses look promising, but we don't know whether the levels we're seeing would actually protect against infection. It's really hard to know that until you do the actual efficacy trial," she said. "So we're laying the groundwork for the trial that will provide those answers."

-------

So Moderna's in the same position as Oxford: It looks promising but they just don't know for sure.

I guess in this world of instant info, this passes as news and an important story but to me, it does not.

I don't think that is the context he is referring to.

Reporting all of California is deceptive. There has been an uptick in Sacramento but most of the problem is LA San Diego and some of the rural southern areas.

Reporting all of CA makes the southern part look better than it is.

Those areas locked down later, opened up sooner and opened up more and now they have the caseload to prove it.

A retail COVID-19 antibody test is now available through M Health Fairview that promotes 99% accuracy and offers an answer to all who believe they have already been infected with the coronavirus that causes the disease.

MSHSAA is still planning on August 10 for practices and August 28 for contests to begin. It sounds like Missouri really wants to get sports in this fall and get students back involved with their activities.

Interesting note.

Any school that does NOT offer in school learning will not be eligible for participate in sports which makes sense.

And you'll be fine, just like most others

Have fun in quarantine though. I have a feeling you'll be spending a lot of time on ChiefsPlanet. Maybe you should make a daily "Lew's Corona Log" thread
