I think the league is pretty overrated
As usual, not another elite team and KU isn't even elite this year.
I think Texas Tech is the best team in the league if they have Zach Smith. WVU has disappointed me, I thought they would play better since Esa Ahmad has been back and Konate looks like a legit rim protector and NBA player. Not sure what the deal is, they've struggled keeping up their defensive hacking philosophy late into the 2nd half.
Best case scenario they get 4 teams in the Sweet 16. Two to the final four. Most likely just two Sweet 16 teams. [Reply]

Konate has pretty legit skills, but my GOD he is a cunt. He whines more than Donk Recievers. [Reply]

Bro, we've had 2 FF teams the last decade combined. Ain't getting two on one year. 2 to the S16 is possible I guess [Reply]
Whether they are winning or losing, the script is pretty much the same: this team only plays high-level basketball one half per game. Blame whatever you want: shallow bench, lack of toughness, whatever.
Soon they'll need 2 halves, a complete game of effort (tomorrow night?), and I don't know if they are capable of giving it, for whatever reason.

Hope I'm wrong.
didnt the play hard the whole game against Kentucky and TCU? That comeback on the road against WVU was a gut check that they passed. [Reply]

Tomorrow is going to be the biggest gut this season. [Reply]

It's (one of) the same narrative every season. [Reply]
