He is easily becoming one of my favorite Chiefs. Mainly because I love the CB position and he nails that shit.

Anyone know what his current PFF ranking is? He's gotta be up there.

He's 17.

Other notables are Richard Sherman (4), Marcus Peters (7), Chris Harris Jr (18), Steven Nelson (20), Stephon Gilmore (35), Kendall Fuller (53), Bashaud Breeland (110).

I can’t wait to watch on Sunday. Have a feeling he grabs another pick. Like it to be a pick six

You know PFF is a joke when Stephon Gilmore best CB in the NFL is number 35

I think we can safely say this trade was an utter rape based on who the Cowboys have now. If they had 3 or 4 guys who were still better than Ward, it wouldn't be a rape at all. We still would have given them injury-in-waiting Ehinger, but the Cowboys probably would have just shrugged their shoulders and chalked it up to shitty injury luck.

Out of the CBs currently on their team at the time of Ward being in Cowboys training camp as a rookie, you've got Byron Jones, Chidobe Awuzie, Jourdan Lewis, and Anthony Brown. Regardless of what PFF says, it'd be pretty homerish to take Ward over Jones without a larger sample size.

But over Awuzie, Lewis, and Brown? It's.... kinda tough to say. At the very least, you'd think Ward has a good chance of sticking around on that team and contributing somehow, even if it is a contribution far down the depth chart. Again, Ward is getting opportunities to develop in KC that he wouldn't have had in Dallas (presumably) but right now... can't say I'd claim all three are clearly better than Ward.

So... yeah. Cowboys probably want that one back. Hardcore.

Not sure I agree with those rankings.

8th best passer rating against in the league and he’s statistically better against the run than the 7 CB’s rated higher than him.

Extend this guy Veach

Most tackles vs the run by a CB, 2019.

1. Charvarius Ward - 29
2. Kenny Moore - 25
3. Joe Haden - 22

Haden with an A+ open field tackle on Frank Gore in the red zone. Heck of a year for #23. #Steelers pic.twitter.com/65tip7snIv

Cowboys really blew that one. What a fleecing. For Parker Ehringer.

Peters won’t get 29 tackles against the run in his career
