Rush always souded amazing-whoever told you that is a fucking idiot-lol
LOL. The Rush one is laughable for sure as I've seen enough videos and I like progressive music quite a bit. I think the complaint was that they sounded just like their studio selves live. One of my main draws to My Morning Jacket is that they are WAY different and better live than studio. Studio just fuels the live show.
I'll get crunched, but I've not seen a VH video that I thought was a show I'd like. And guitar is my main thing in life.
Man this is so sad. I saw them on VH II tour, Women and Children First, Diver Down and Fair Warning. Was not a fan of the Van Hagar years. Met the band and Valerie Bertinellie back in the day. Sad loss to the rock world today - like Lenny Kravitz said - Heaven will be electric tonight. R.I.P. EVH [Reply]
Derek Sherinian wrote the music, Brian Tichy was on the drums and Eddie played over the top of the composition, all of which was for a "high budget" porn film back in 2006. [Reply]
That's pretty nice to see. I know Ed wasn't the happiest guy in the world and suffered his share over the years. Glad there was still love for him from her.
Matters to me I suppose because VH was a large presence in my younger life. VH1 through 1984 were all huge turn-ons and the band was included on my list of reasons to live. Grateful for the man, hard to believe he's outta here now. RIP.
