Did he even win a playoff game for Falcons? I don't remember him winning shit there either. [Reply]

I think he won one, because the Falcons chiefed it up pretty bad and blew a lead at the end, but then somehow pulled off an antichiefian miracle to pull it back out, and Tony was in tears after the game. [Reply]

Again, he didn't ask for a trade. The team was going no where and Tony G was the only one left with any trade value. The trade was all Piolo. [Reply]
Tony had an interesting career in KC. I tend to associate him with the strong teams of the 90s, but he was only with the 1997 team among Marty's playoff teams. He's really more of a Vermeil guy in terms of playing time on good teams, but spend more than half his career playing for bad coaches on bad teams. His timeline spans multiple Chiefs eras. [Reply]
Mark Donovan said today that this Thursday's game will be the Chiefs Legends game. Tony Gonzalez will be inducted into the Chiefs Ring of Honor at halftime. [Reply]
