Is it an issue? How to counter?

My BP runs about 100/70 most of the time, regardless.

Worked for LT. You’ll be fine.

There are tons of guys (and gals) that are in optimal health and just choose to enhance it a bit more this way.

This is a good point. Whenever you take one hormone, your body will sense that and try to re-balance by changing production of other hormones. I've been trying for years to get the balance right with treating my low T while not screwing up other things. I've tried the gel. I've been on cyp injections at different amount and intervals and as frequently as every third day small doses. I've been on HCG to try to keep from getting sterilized by the testosterone. I've tried arimidex to try to control my rising estradiol levels. Maybe my story could help others in this boat.

These things all helped a little and i would feel better after trying something new or adjusting the dose, but it wouldn't last and my body would adjust and then I would go back to feeling bad after a week or so. About a month ago, I tried something new - my dr. prescribed some compounded testosterone cream that I apply to my scrotum. The theory is that there is better absorption there and it will also increase DHT which is another hormone testosterone converts to, which may help alleviate symptoms better than just testosterone.

It has been a gamechanger. I decided to stop taking the injections and the HCG and the arimidex and now I just do 12.5mg of testosterone cream every morning and it's the best I've felt in years. I've lost 5 pounds in the last month and have more energy. Also, no testicle shrinkage so I'm hopeful that this is not killing all my sperm.

There was a study done showing that the cream applied to the scrotum is pretty fast acting and also leaves your system fairly quickly so I'm guessing that maybe the cream is allowing my natural testosterone production to continue since the body would still signal to produce more once the cream leaves your system and maybe the cream is just supplementing the natural production instead of replacing it completely. Further bloodwork and time will tell.

There's also a testosterone nasal spray called Natesto that works on this theory - that it is so quick acting and leaves quickly that it does not suppress your natural T production. You have to take it like 3 times a day though which sucks. I'd rather do one application of cream to the nuts once in the morning if i can get the same result.

So if anyone out there is not too severely low on T (it may even work for people with really low T for all I know), then this method may help more than shooting up a bunch of T and completely shutting down your own production of a bunch of other hormones.

Yup. That's the study I was referencing. There's a nice graph in there (figure 1) that shows how quickly the T levels rise and fall. Also, lots of good info on excelmale. A few drs. comment on their forums from time to time.

I'm having ED. Im 29 and went soft inside a girl. I don't look at porn nor do I have high blood pressure. Would my GP be the best person to see about it?

Dude, you're 29 and have that problem?

If you're not taking drugs, drinking heavy, or something like that, see a doctor.
