Nine straight #Royals home wins dating back to game two of the season in late March. Excellent pitching matchup. Burnes-Ragans part 2. Royals offense has scored just nine runs in Ragans’ four starts this year. Pregame at 5:30 pic.twitter.com/pUKMR6VrYj

Kept getting 2 strikes on the hitters, but was leaving his change-up "up" and that led to a bunch of dinkers, doinkers, and seeing eye hits, which snowballed into a couple of hard hit extra base hits. Just couldn't quite find it, and the Orioles hitters really battled him. [Reply]
Man, but depending on how you look at it, the O’s either got a little lucky, or simply made the plays they needed to make in the 9th.
That Santander catch could’ve easily turned into BWJr at third with no outs. Vinnie followed with a sharp grounder that just made it into the 2nd baseman’s glove, going 5-3. Neither was a routine play at all. If those two start the inning getting on with Vinnie driving in BWJr, it’s a one run game with nobody out.
O’s are a very good team, and that offense is no joke. Would love to see Lugo shut those fuckers down tomorrow, but I’ll take a series win however I can get it against those guys. [Reply]
