The AFC Championship runs through Arrowhead.

You pretty much have to get pressure against the Chiefs. You aren't gonna beat them with coverage, just too many weapons. If you can't get pressure, Mahomes will just pick you apart.

Yesterday was awesome. Damn it.

My take for the game- if the Titans can’t keep the Chiefs from quick striking with the most potent offense in the league it could be a long game for the titans. If KC can’t keep the titans from grinding it out and wearing the defense out and putting up points with the leagues best red zone scoring offense, it could be a “shortened” long game for the Chiefs. KC isn’t built to be a physical offense in any way shape or form just as Ten isn’t built to be a shootout team. If Ten makes them play a physical style of O, that’s going to favor the titans. The exact same thing plays for titans. If KC forces Ten to play a barn burner, KC will be favored.

This game is going to be forced into a middle ground for both teams and I think the more physical team THIS game is going to secure the W. Nothing else prior in this season matters. Its one game, one win, one winner. These teams are going to throw everything they have at each other and it’s going to be two totally different styles clashing it out and it’s going to be epic. The chiefs coming out flat against Houston won’t happen. The titans defense loading down the line of scrimmage and allowing wide open te’s in the middle of the field won’t happen, they’re not game planning for the leagues best rushing attack and most prolific running qb. The one thing the chiefs don’t have is a solid running attack(23rd in league). This game is literally strength vs weakness of both teams from top to bottom. As fan bases we can all say these are two completely different teams and this guy or that guy didn’t play then, as both teams were totally different from week 10. I like the titans chances but I’m not banking on it. One thing that comes to mind is Tannehills go ahead drive to end our week 10 game. With the game on the line it was on him and that was pure guts and heart and hope he brings it this week, we WILL need more than 80 yards passing this week.
Not to be an a-hole, but why do so many of you "like your chances" with a poor secondary vs a team that just scored 51 in 2 and a half quarters by slinging it all over the field? The Titans' secondary isn't much better than Houston's. As evidenced by Mahomes throwing for about 450 and 4 TDs on the road.

KC is flat-out better on both sides of the ball and will have the best player on the field.

Obviously, anything can happen in a single-elimination scenario, but it would take another game like vs Baltimore (slew of turnovers) for them to come out of KC with the win.

That’s the normal play relay format. Reid —> EB —> Mahomes.

They need to get pressure without blitzing as well, since Mahomes is one of the top-rated QBs when blitzed.

Damned if they do; damned if they don’t.

Cause they beat 2 well thought of teams.....not that those teams can throw well. And because the machine has made Derrick Henry into Jim Brown.

The Titans do have one of the best safeties in the NFL in Kevin Byard

If the Titans beat us....it will be because their defense stopped our offense.

51 points in 2.5 quarters of football takes more than just the chiefs offense doing their thing. It took a big part for Houston to completely fall apart and not adjust one bit. The likelihood of a meltdown like that is extremely rare. It would take an epic meltdown like that for KC to even come close to replicating that again.

ItKC invented a way to lose that last game.

Mahomes went for 446 and 3td on one leg.

It took the dumbest roster move in recent memory deactivating Pennel, a Damien Williams fumble 6, and the worst ****ing 3rd and 2 call with the game on the line in the Andy Reid era, on top of Colquitt not knowing the snap count AND intentionally grounding the football to even be in a situation to take the lead.

Then a missed offsides call by the refs allows our potential game tying fg to be blocked, because again, snap count issues.

That shit will not happen in KC.

Mahomes is gonna do to the Titans what Stallone did to the big bad at the end of Last Blood. Rip their heart out and show it to them.

It’s like Manning in Indy with all his weapons. You can’t slow them down unless you can create pressure with only 4 up front.

Pat has come so far this year mentally. It’s truly astonishing how much better he is against the blitz. He was very good last year, but what he did was unsustainable. He got away with pure talent to avoid pass rushers.

James Palmer did an interview with our OL and they said that Pat has improved so much against the blitz that he can read the signs early in pre-snap.

Texans rushed 8 here and Pat saw it coming pre-snap. He didn’t even look right bc he saw the overload blitz to his left and knew that space would be open.

Patrick Mahomes is the best player in football.

Add in..

Chiefs points allowed: 308
Titans points allowed: 331

Chiefs record: 12-4
Titans record: 9-7

Chiefs finished season going 7-0 with their last game being a blitzkreig over the team that won the Titans division.

Titans needed to beat a resting Texans squad to even make the playoffs before beating Zombie Brady and the best throwing runningback in the league

Cute is right.

And the Titans already beat them too.

You are posting stats of a team that already lost to them.
