What about Zach Ertz? He's started in 17 fewer games than Kelce. (Ertz is 29 vs Kelce 31)
Has 1 fewer TD than Kelce and only 652 fewer yards.
Is Ertz a lock considering he's right there with Kelce in 17 fewer games? And, they both have near mirror production in 6 playoff games each with Ertz having a ring and a TD in the SB. Things hold on to current pace, they're both going to end with incredible careers, but Ertz may be the better one.
Kelce is almost assured a yellow jacket unless he gets injured.
I guess he could do something stupid like accept a huge contract from a terrible team. Even then, good tight ends continue to put up big numbers because their routes are the easiest passes to complete.
If Kelce doesn't get a bad injury he ends up in Canton. imo. [Reply]
