It's been a long time. About 20 years, I guess.
And I'm not talking about on social media; people behave much more aggressively and stupidly on their phones/behind their keyboards than they do IRL, IMO. I'm talking about at the actual game.
And if Chiefs fans are throwing beers at players on the field or at fans of the visiting team just because they exist, or threatening the friends and families of visiting team members as they sit surrounded, then you're right; I don't want to be a part of that, and I'd avoid paying for tickets to see that. It's psychotic, disturbed, and just utterly classless and shameful.
And if that's how you want to support your team then you shouldn't be a fan of any team. Or at the very least, you shouldn't ever go and see an actual game; people like that give the rest of us a bad name. [Reply]
