And here's our replacement for Clone Wars. Coming to Disney XD in fall 2014. Bridges the gap between Eps 3 and 4. Looks...very cool. Conceptually.

The series will mine material from the 19 years that follow Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and precede the Episode IV: A New Hope. In other words, using the life of the Skywalker twins as a measure, the series will be active in the story years that come after their separation as newborns and before their (unwitting) reunion on the prison level of the Death Star.
No word on whether the show will feature Darth Vader (who would be in the Empire’s power consolidation years and earning his reputation) or even pull in a character like Han Solo, the smuggler and cynic who becomes an unlikely freedom fighter when he opts to stand with his friends against cosmic odds. The title of the show is vaguely phrased in a way that any rebel — even a Boba Fett or Ahsoka Tano might qualify as a title character merely by walking an outsider’s path.
The series has three executive producers: Dave Filoni, the point man on The Clone Wars animated series that launched in 2008; screenwriter and producer Simon Kinberg, who has a flair for tonal rewiring and energizing familiar brands with new edge (e.g.: X-Men: First Class, Sherlock Holmes); and Greg Weisman, whose credits include well-regarded work on Young Justice and The Spectacular Spider-Man.
That was a very enjoyable episode. Explains the whole "Ahsoka walking through the tunnel" glimpse we got after her fight with Vader.
The very first thing I thought when I saw the "World Between Wolds" place was that they just created their deus ex machina to get Luke into Episode IX, sans Force Ghost. [Reply]

God he's fucking incredible.
Don't forget Rise,Dawn, and War of the Planet of the Apes. [Reply]
The animation was excellent and way beyond how the series looked when it began back in 2014. I really enjoyed the final two episodes although:
Spoiler!
The last 10 minutes or so seemed like a copout to me. They did a time jump, which is no big deal but they left Ezra's tale open ended, as they did Grand Admiral Thrawn.
I guess that's cool for a future animated series or even Live Action TV program but it felt a little hollow, knowing that Ahsoka and Ezra were both still alive but that Ezra was "somewhere out there" and didn't return during the OT era.
It'll be interesting to see what Filoni comes up with next and whether or not it involved any of the Ghost Crew, Ezra and even Kanan's son
I felt a lot about that… It’s one of those things that you go “oh boy I love the idea of an end credits scenes” but as tempting as that is but I go “well if I cover that, then I want to do it right” and I don’t want to commit to things right now because things might change. So I have a lot of theories about it and what I think happens and where they are. I’ll say this much, they’re not dead. Both of them survive, both Ezra and Thrawn I would say survive it.
I’ve always felt the best stories end and then other stories begin, and there’s no better way to take two of my favorite characters and have them ride off into the sunset, like I’ve seen so many cowboys over the years, or Indiana Jones. One thing ends and another begins, and the story continues. That’s a saga.
