Best chance of winning the Indy 500 is to drive a RP car. Hello finished second to SATO last May at the "500" but is now doing just the "500' this May. I doubt Helio would ever drive a race car for someone other the PENSKE at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. What year was your oust out at Mid-Ohio?

Is Fuzzy's vodka worth the price?

We drink it at the 500 as a tradition, We drank Effen* one year.(they had a car in 2006) it was like the first of the "luxury" vodkas before Fuzzy's and frankly, I can't tell much difference. I think they are priced about the same. If I buy good vodka, I buy the Fuzzy's, just cuz.,

*I still have my "I'd rather be EFFEN racing" tee shirt from 12 years ago.

One of my friends is tight with Carpenter (in the booze biz) and last year there was a 1.75 liter bottle of "100X" signed by Fuzzy and Ed, for the tent, the vodka was said to sell for $100. There were numerous bottles of regular Fuzzy's, and you could taste the difference. If you get a chance to try the "100X" go for it.

We start drinking at about 6AM as soon as the tents are up in the infield and go for about 10 hours. I don't ever recall any leftover Fuzzy's. We start back up about noon on Monday and normally need reinforcements.:-):-)

Then again, we camp near the ladies facilities and give away a lot of drinks to the good looking ladies on a hot afternoon with next to nothing on....:-):-):-)

If I am going to pay $50 for booze, I head for the Whisky, but I do buy Fuzzy's for $20-25 bucks and it's worth that.

I guess I will have to try the"Big Machine" vodka from Nashville, but I've never seen any yet.

I received a 2018 Fuzzy's / Ed Carpenter Racing promo package yesterday introducing the new driver Jordan King and Danica's final race with a couple of interesting pieces of swag.

FYI Effen Racing, made it 49 laps, Effen never raced again...

l was just walking the dog. They hadn’t finished the track and the cars weren’t in the paddock yet. It rarely rains this time of the year. Supposed to rain a lot on Sunday. Going tomorrow, I’ll take some pics.

cooper barrett - I usually watch the INDY GP from the PADDOCK PRESS PENTHOUSE. The yellow shirts are pretty cool about it because hardly anybody goes to the race and that section is not sold for that race. Most people don't even know about it. Plus most race fans don't want to sit on the main straight for the GP. The PAGODA race ticket was for Saturday only at just over $200. I usually buy a penthouse ticket at $85 to have access to the Old PRESS PENTHOUSE section. I just bought it to see and go in the PAGODA. That's pretty much off limits for most. I probably won't even watch the race from there unless there is some outside access. My first Indy 500 was in 1979.
