They havenít gotten involved yet. Do you know how many protesters have been killed thus far? ZERO. If this was happening in a major American city do you honestly think our states government would allow this to continue? The national guard would be called down and people would die.

From what I heard, there were numerous death of many young people lately. A nude 15 girl drowned and she was an accomplished swimmer. A guy who jumped from building had no blood anywhere on his body. A student claimed to fall from building but was seen earlier chased and beaten up by police. That was why the protesters calling the HK police having brutality against the people.

The protesters are the ones violently attacking people who object to having their neighborhoods destroyed. They are the ones throwing bricks off overpasses indiscriminately. In that one video a man is seen arguing with a protester and they threw gasoline on him and lit him on fire. Again if this were an American city, the national guard wouldíve been called and this wouldíve been squashed a long time ago. The local HK police are stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they match their aggression, the western media is going to run with the narrative of the CCP violently suppressing peaceful protesters.

Huge line turned out for the voting.

"Voters, relishing the opportunity to express their democratic rights, were unperturbed by the lines. Gloria Lai, 40, took her two children to a polling station close to a major protest flash point in Wan Chai: A road that in the past months has seen tear gas, water cannons and massive fires. They waited an hour to vote.

“I want my children to always remember that it is their right to vote, it is their right to voice out their opinion, and this is something to be treasured,” she said. “We don’t have the right to vote for our chief executive, but we have this.”

Of course they did. Our security is extremely valuable. Why wouldn’t Hong Kong want southern white working class kids to go lay down their lives for Hong Kong freedom?

We all should. He's awesome, and is a strong consideration for me voting for in the next election.

Really, do you think former PM Theresa May, Macron, Commie Merkel, Putin, Assad and Yemeni's feel that way?

American Exceptionalim=US NGOs & Deep State working to incite unrest in another country in order to drag China into HK. Probably to wreck Trump's near successful China trade deal. Whatta' way to dupe Trump.

NeoCons, this is not what our Framers meant about American exceptionalism.
