Looks TIGHT.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The series will be written and executive produced by Emmy-nominated producer and actor Jon Favreau, as previously announced, with Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) directing the first episode.

Additional episodic directors include Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).

It will be executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist will serve as co-executive producer. Stay tuned to StarWars.com for updates.

But when I get Disney+, it'll be for this show. All the Marvel stuff is cool and all but this looks amazing.
I mean you could always watch other stuff for two months and binge this.

I agree it is a very different viewing experience. But I see where Disney is at they donít want a bunch of our aged fools getting it for a weekend and cancelling Monday. At least this way if you sign up on the first day and keep it for 2 months youíll at least have at using it for something else and seeing the value.

I get it. Iíd probably do it too but youíre right it sucks.

F'k that. I'll subscribe once the whole thing has aired, and avoid discussion about it.

also not boba fett.

Boba was an homage to McQueens' character, bounty hunter, Josh Randall in Wanted: Dead or alive.

Seeing the madalorian packing pistols and rifles makes me think it is Jango or an entirely different mandolorian

I don't get why anyone ever thought it was Boba Fett. Not Mandalorian. That goes for Jango, too.

Some journalists were able to see thirty minutes of the first season of The Mandalorian. Here is a compilation of their feelings. pic.twitter.com/dpL4BxLdfK

I'm not going to go out of my way to watch this. But I hope it's the beginning of something great. It looks a little... off to me. But the word out there is that it's totally dope.

What I've seen of it looks more like Star Wars than anything that's been produced since about 1980.

Rogue One was more Star Wars than Return of the Jedi.

Rogue One did an excellent job of nailing the SW vibe, imo. The other films have done a piss poor job.

So apparently there's a "major Star Wars universe spoiler" in the first episode of The Mandalorian.

Boba Fett confirmed.
