Palpatine yeets reformed Ben into a never ending pit to his presumed death. Palpatine turns force lightning onto Rey (revealed she's Palpatines granddaughter lol) who eventually turns it back on him with a double bladed X maneuver. Palpatine melts his own face and explodes, killing Rey in the process. Ben crawls out and uses medical force powers to revive Rey, sharing a kiss with her as he dies. I'd write it off as bad fanfic but this guy has already had earlier leaks confirmed in trailers.

This trailer is amazing! Amazing in the fact that despite all of the mess surrounding this movie, it *appears* they got this right. I mean, it's a freaking BAD ASS turn of events, IMO, anyway.
I'm kind of sad that I saw this trailer but at the same time, I'm more excited than ever before about this film and cannot WAIT until Thursday night, 6:30pm PST, which is when I'm first seeing this film.
I'll be posting Thursday night, probably around 10:00pm PST and will likely need to start a Spoiler Thread because there will be some things (strike that: MANY things) that happen in the film that can only be discussed by including spoilers. [Reply]
Well shit, if YOU are sad you saw it, I don't think I want to view it. I really am in need of something positive to stoke the fires for this film, but you kind of sound like it was maybe TOO much they gave away there. So, I think I'll pass. Maybe. Thanks for the warning either way, though!

I've been watching a few YouTube videos about the new trilogy and what the reviewers believe the intent was. It puts a different perspective on things and I believe I will go back and re-watch The Last Jedi with a different perspective. I was disappointed because Luke was, IMO, treated with disrespect however there are clues in the movie which help explain why he has lost faith.
It's a bit like how I was disappointed in Star Trek, TNG vs TOS. Different people and different times. [Reply]
