If you ever happen to be in the armpit of Toronto, the place is called Tuckshop kitchen.
I had the "Tuck Royale" which is basically a ground brisket, pork shoulder & smoked back fat patty with lettuce, tomato, red onion + house cured bacon, jalapeņos and 2 year Balderson cheddar.
where's the fried egg, beetroot, and pineapple ffs, oh, and no fucking bacon i see! :-)

The house cured bacon was the kicker on this puppy. Usually, I won't order a cheeseburger with bacon because the cheese will get all over the bacon and cover the flavor. This experience, however, was a carnivorous orgasm.

oddly enough, to be real, the aussie 'lot burger', doesn't have bacon. which is a disgrace. :-)

My mouth is watering even at this early morning hour! :-):-):-)

Love that thick slice of cheese.

I lived in Toronto for one year from mid 2016-mid 2017 on the corner of King and Yonge in the Suites at One King West and then for a short time in Markham.

I tell everyone Toronto is one of the most underrated cities in the world.

Full of flavor and delicious. You can customize how much heat you desire. I know some of you here, just love high heat.
That's another winner there! :-)

it's a grease vinaigrette.

The fries were a little under, but I didn't mind as he knew I was in a rush to leave. The burger was spot on though, one of the best in town. And a full combo =double cheeseburger with drink was 8 bucks.

I haven't been posting pics lately, because what I've been eating really hasn't compared to the things KCUnited and BEP have been putting down in here. Gonna get back to posting, though. Tonight was just simple chicken kabobs. I marinated the wife's in a balsamic vinegarette. The kid and I went with a citrus and onion marinade from Stubbs.

Sorry no pics of the cooked product. We ate quickly.

Those kabobs look good af. Much better than the tired looking ones I picked up at the store last week. Smart to include the zucchini, love zucchini rounds off the grill.

I got a tri tip at the store today. Never made one. Thinking sous vide for sandwiches.

[I got one (clearance item $1.99#) at SLAM's Club and it was marinated. I also grabbed a Mock Felit (see pic) for $2.99#. I am going to coldish smoke the tri tip then Sous Vide it or just smoke and sear it. I had Tri-Tip smoked (rare) at a roadside BBQ in AK and it was delish.
